We hired/contracted/employed a company that turned out to be a disaster/nightmare/mess. They completely/totally/utterly ruined/destroyed/trashed our bathtub, leaving it in a horrible/awful/terrible state. Now we're stuck with a broken/damaged/defective tub and a huge/massive/enormous bill!

This garbage/trash/waste work/job/duty is a complete disaster/catastrophe/mess. I'm swamped/buried/overwhelmed with mountains/piles/tons of stuff/debris/rubbish.
